What people say about us:
“With a with a unique sense of understanding and sensitivity to the needs of their participants and audience alike, Matt and the Just 4 Funk crew consistently deliver dynamic workshops and performances appealing to all ages and backgrounds. “
-Katherine Ford, Project Manager @ Dance in Devon
South Dartmoor Academy has been working closely with Matt and J4F for a few years now and we cannot recommend them enough. Their classes are thoroughly enjoyed by our primary and secondary students who attend them and they really have developed as young dancers. It’s great to see the engaging and encouraging working relationships between Matt and our students and we strongly believe that it is Matt’s commitment and passion that has provided our students with the Dance bug!
-Abi Cowell, South Dartmoor Academy
“It’s great to see the students’ self-esteem and confidence grow with each session. Their pleasure and sense of achievement obtained with each new move they learn is clear to see and wonderful to experience. It’s also lovely to see the social bonds formed between the primary and secondary students.”
-Anna White, South Dartmoor Academy
“Matt has worked in our school over the past year running an after school
Street Dance Club. The children absolutely love it and not only get fit but are
learning great routines which they have enjoyed performing for the rest of the
school and parents.”“Matt’s Street Dance after school club has made dancing at Cockwood School
COOL! ”” Children of all ages have really engaged with Street Dance club. For many of
the children it has been the first time they have been involved in any form of
dance. Boys in particular have found it’s cool to dance!”– Alison Murtha, Cockwood Primary School
“Our two boys aged 6 and 9 started learning to break dance with Just4funk last year and were hooked from the first lesson. Matt and Steve, their two teachers, provided inspiration in a safe, fun and respectful environment. They have instilled a life long love of dance and music.” Sue Philpot
